We are looking for exceptional people to provide extraordinary care as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
The Physical Therapy Assistant is specifically involved with assisting in the treatment of patients as directed by the Physical Therapist (PT) and participates as an active member of the hospital’s rehabilitation team.
Hours: PRN (as needed). Flexible weekday and weekend shifts available.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Records treatments given in medical record.
- Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs and home exercise programs as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Communicates with supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
- Assists with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area and department.
- Current licensure in Nebraska and/or nationally certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Meets educational requirements established in Nebraska.
- Current BLS certification required at time of hire.
